Coffee Detective Newsletter #28 -- A survey, coffee poems and more June 15, 2013 |
The Coffee Detective Newsletter Issue #28 June 2013 Greetings, It has been a few weeks since the last issue, and I have plenty of new stuff to share. First, I would be very grateful if you could spend about 5 seconds completing my latest survey. I simply want to know what your favorite roast is – light, medium or dark. It’s the first survey on the page here… (Just one button to click.) Next, while I have added and updated a number of pages on the site over the last little while, the surprise publication of the month has been a page of coffee-themed poems. Yes, when I’m not working, writing about coffee, doing chores, working in the garden or kayaking…I like to write poems. I’m not going to pretend I’m a great poet or anything, but if you like coffee and poetry, I think you’ll enjoy them. Check out my coffee poems here… And if you have ever wondered whether it’s your drip brewer that’s to blame for those disappointing pots of coffee, you might want to read one of my recent articles, Is your drip brewer is even CAPABLE of making good coffee? Actually, that looks like becoming one of the most popular articles on the site and has even inspired some single-serve coffee maker fans to take a fresh look at one or two of the better drip brewers. Finally - and this will be of interest only if are in the coffee business – I have just launched a new business, serving some of the marketing needs of coffee companies. I have been a marketer and marketing writer for over 30 years, and have been writing about coffee on CoffeeDetective.com for over 7 years…so I thought I would combine both interests with a new business. If you sell coffee or coffee making equipment, check out my services at ZeroDecaf Marketing. That’s it for now. Until next time. Nick Nick Usborne |
