Use your own coffee in your Keurig

Mini red Keurig single-cup

There's a reusable filter cup made by Keurig that you can fill with your own coffee grounds and brew any coffee you want.

Both problems (limited supply, and price of cups) gone.

I have a mini one in my dorm room and I love it! It's excellent for brewing a to-go cup on the run to class.

Editor's Note: Great photo Ana Mari! For anyone interested, she's talking about the My K-Cup reusable filter. And her beautiful red brewer is the Keurig B30.

If you want to see how the My K-Cup reusable filter works in your Keurig, you can watch my video demo here.

In my question of Jan 2009....I found the answer... Walmart has reusable.(SP).... it comes with enough for 2 reusable cups.... it is made by Melita.... and the small Melita works perfectly with the plastic reusable cups and lids.....

Works for me!!!

Without the Special Filter
by: Susan T

Maybe it sounds nuts but when we use our Keurig with our own coffee, we just remove the elevated catch plate and stick a melitta under it. It's a very fast way to pull "shots" of hot water first thing in the morning. Yeah, I'm misusing the term.

We like Green Mountain Sumatra and Kenya; most of the other k-cups are weak, stale, over roasted crud.

How to use the filter to make the coffee
by: Gingir

I would love to know how you put coffee into the filter without it going all over the inside of the maker and coffee??

Love your page.
